Jemma and Matthew got married at the end of March at St. Barnabas church in Bromborough, Wirral. For a day at the end of March, the weather was really kind as it was dry and reasonably warm.
The reception followed at Inglewood Manor. It was my very first trip there and it is quite a special place. The couple and their guests had the run of of the manor which I always think is a nice feature for a wedding. Frederick Fox, who was successful in marine insurance, purchased Inglewood House and re-modelled it in 1915. It now operates as a country house hotel and I can confirm that both the house and the grounds are well worth exploring.
Here are some of the highlights of Jemma and Matthew’s day. They were a very happy couple indeed.
