recalibration required….?

So I was away with work last week.  I don’t know if it was just being in a different environment but I kept bumping into things.  It’s all very silly but it seems I had forgotten where my body is in space or something!  The car door and boot (aka trunk) got in my way as did the hotel bathroom sink.  My head seemed to be the most common target.  Ouch!  Fortunately the only remaining visible wound is just a bump on my forehead.

I was thinking that I might need to recalibrate.  Lots of functioning “things” need a periodic realignment, resetting or zeroing.  Maybe I’ve just hit my recalibration date?  However, now that I’m back home, I seem to have been bump free for a couple of days…. maybe it’s just a coincidence.  Or maybe coming home was all the “zeroing” I required.  Ahhhh.

We have a long weekend here this weekend but we’ve not planned anything too ambitious…  We’re taking things easy around home.  Today I’ve been shopping in Chester, had a trip to the gym and I was doing some gardening this afternoon.  Tomorrow we’re having a wee little barbeque with Paul’s family.  (All fingers crossed for good weather please!) Monday a movie is on the cards.  “Awaydays” (http://www.awaydaysthemovie.com/movie.html) is from a book written about punks in Birkenhead.
