lazy weekend…

That says it all really…

When I went to bed last night I checked and double checked that the alarm clock was off!  It was so nice not to have that forced wake up call that seems to be coming earlier and earlier each morning as the dark mornings creep in on us.  This weekend Paul’s on standby with his work so we can’t really plan too much.  I’m actually feeling pleased and relaxed by this thought.  Its nice to just hang out after a busy weekend of camping and walking last weekend and a few busy weekends to come in October too.  I booked two more camping trips (Brent’s coming too!) and there is a couple of work-related events on the calendar.  Staying at home for this one is fine by me.

I went to see Helen, Francis and Owen one night after work this week.  It was good to catch up and I enjoyed the Indian takeaway immensely.  Weirdly, work has been quite “satisfying” this week.  I’m not sure why but I definitely have felt less frustrated and more productive than in recent weeks.  Stand by your beds for next week, then, hey?  Something will happen no doubt that will make up for it….

Oh and Happy Birthday to Melissa for yesterday!  Hurray!  Cakes all around…. Birthday cake
