This weekend we celebrated Paul’s birthday.
But before that I went wedding dress shopping with my friend Emily and her sister Laura. I’m pleased to say that she has picked a beautiful dress. I am also really chuffed to say that she really surprised me by asking me to be one of her bridesmaids. This should be fun. 😉
On Saturday, Paul, Stella and I went for a nice walk all together – just from home though. We walked to Storeton and then up through Arrowe Park. Paul tells me it was about 7 miles and although there was no ice cream on route, it did end in Upton Village where there is a sweet shop so I was happy. We had a fire and some chill out time on Saturday night as well.
On Sunday, I tried to make Paul breakfast in bed but I was about 5 minutes late… He was coming down the stairs just as I was about to go up them! He still enjoyed his bacon and egg on toast though. I think he should probably feel quite honoured as it was the first time I’ve ever made a fried egg! Honest! He opened a few cards and presents and then we headed out in the fog to Birkenhead Park for a little walk. In the afternoon Jayne, Paul and the kids came over and when they arrived, we had fun with the studio set up.
The photo shoot was followed by a pizza based food fest involving homemade pizza and a cake decorated like a pizza – which I just about managed to pull off with the help of my 3 able assistants Ella, Hannah and Josh.
Happy Birthday Paul!
